FELDA D’Saji Sdn. Bhd. started as a catering organization and it is fully owned by Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) & Koperasi Permodalan FELDA Berhad (A Cooperation formed by FELDA, FELDA Group Staff contributions and Settler’s contributions). It was formed as a unit in 1984 when the focus was directed on cafeteria services, FELDA Resorts and FELDA student hostel.
Beginning in 1991, we extended our service further with our outdoor catering service which caters to customers from the government sectors and corporate organisations in the Klang Valley.
Not long after, D’Saji became seriously involved in banqueting with the launch of Merak Kayangan Ballroom (Dewan Merak Kayangan) and later FELDA Grand Ballroom Perdana (Dewan Perdana FELDA), which offers excellent venues for Annual Dinners, Conventions, Seminars and of course, Wedding Ceremonies.
D’Saji was offered catering and cafeteria business in MNC Training Institute such as CIMB & RHB Training Centre in Bangi which show their confidence in our capability to serve their staffs daily.
Right till present moment, FELDA D’Saji is still in the process of expansion and developing new business projects. Amongst out most recent achievements besides handling to catering projects were the launched of our new subsidiary, D’Saji Restaurant & Café which handle our restaurant & garden wedding venue chains (Felda Villa), FELDA Hotel & Resorts F&B; Operation and D’Saji @ Makkah Operation. We are also actively seeking new partners to launch new wedding and event package and have obtained various panel caterer endorsements to many exclusive event venues and was also awarded exclusive partnership at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Tower & Perangsang Templer Golf Club. This effort would enable our customers to find our service and delightful foods nearer to their home, apart from our famous outdoor catering unit which already bringing our service and food to their homes and offices.
Our turnover for the company in 2010 exceeded RM40 million and we are setting our target to achieve our first RM50 million by 2013.
